Overt Jackets for use by news personnel are used in the world’s most hostile environments. They must resist explosion particles and have a ballistic capability in excess of a standard police style vest

Media Jackets are invariably supplied in NIJ Level IIIA and will require 2 solid plates (extra) fitted into the front and rear upgrade pockets of the jacket. The plates will give rifle resistance to approximately 50% of the areal coverage of a standard large Media Jacket.
We supply rifle plates in 8 different specifications, including a new HAP-7 plate which addresses the dilemma of journalists having to choose between Level III & Level IV plates. The new HAP-7 will pass both tests. For more information on plates visit the plates section.
