NIJ Level IV and NIJ Level III Combination Plate

This is our newest plate. It has ballistic credentials difficult to surpass.
The decision to procure level III or IV is often complicated. A news team will often kit out its crew with one or the other based on current security advice.
Most buyers assume that a Level IV will pass the III test - this is incorrect. The Level III test is 6 shots from the M80. If you examine our HAP-6 Level IV “Standard”, you will see only one M80 test shot; and not 6.

This plate uses a new super grade ceramic base that gives a weight saving of 500 grams (per set of 2) against our standard Level IV (HAP-6). It is also only 7% heavier than our HAP-5 Level III
